Aging parents and grandparents carry family history that no one else knows.

A legacy film ensures their voice, face, and wisdom won’t fade with time — and won’t disappear with them.

Video Speaks to the Next Generation

Unlike letters or photos, a film brings someone fully to life. Their gestures, humour, and voice become part of your family’s living memory — something children and grandchildren can truly connect with.

For a birthday, retirement, or anniversary, a legacy film is unforgettable. It’s personal, emotional, and lasting — far beyond any material present.

How the Legacy Process Works

From our first chat to your finished family film we keep the process simple, respectful, and personal — every step is guided by care, conversation, and trust.

1. Initial Call & Planning

We begin with a friendly call to learn more about your family, your goals, and the stories you’d like to preserve.Together, we decide who will be featured and what kind of moments matter most. We’ll also confirm a date, location, and sign a simple agreement that protects your privacy.

2. Filming Days

Filming takes place over 1–2 relaxed sessions, either at home or during a family event.
We record interviews in a comfortable, familiar setting — and capture meaningful details, interactions, and spaces.

The filming process is low-stress and flexible. We create a calm, welcoming atmosphere so everyone feels at ease.

3. Editing & Personal Touches

We carefully review all the footage and craft a story — combining your interviews, natural video, music, and any personal photos or materials you’d like to include.

4. Review & Delivery

You receive a preview version of the film to review. After one round of revisions, we deliver the final high-resolution version — both digitally and on a USB drive for safekeeping and sharing with loved ones.

Meet Victoria -
in Canvas of Memory

Victoria is a retired adventurer, an emerging artist, a passionate collector, and a lifelong learner.

She’s lived across continents, flown planes, weathered sandstorms — and filled her home with giraffes, dragons, books, and stories.

In this film, we wander through the rooms of her world as she reflects on the chapters that shaped her — from global travels and bold choices to painting, learning Italian, and dreaming of Antarctica.

A portrait of a strong, free-spirited woman whose curiosity and courage make her legacy unforgettable.

Reveal Your Roots

About us

We are a family-run production team based in Ontario, with over 15 years of experience in filmmaking, television, and documentaries.

Trained as a screenwriter/director and cinematographer, we bring both professional education and deep storytelling instincts to every project. Our background includes working on national TV, independent documentaries, and social content for diverse platforms.

As immigrants from Ukraine, we understand how precious it is to build a new life while preserving your roots. As a family ourselves, we value connection across generations — and we know how powerful it can be to keep memories alive through film.

We believe every person has a story worth remembering.

We’re here to help you tell it — beautifully, truthfully, and with care.

A Personal Story

Why this project matters to us

When I was a teenager, I used to visit my grandfather — a quiet, warm man with a phenomenal memory. He fought in World War II, taking part in the Battle of Stalingrad, the crossing of the Dnipro, and the capture of Vienna.

After the war, this young man from a small village built a life of quiet dignity — eventually becoming a deputy bank director

He remembered the names and birthdays of every distant relative, and he would tell me stories for hours.

But at that age, I didn’t listen.
He passed away at 99, and I would give anything now to have his voice, his face, his stories preserved on film — to show my daughter when she grows up.

That’s why we do this.
To make sure no story disappears unheard.

Legacy Films
For Companies

We work with mission-driven businesses and organizations to create thoughtful, documentary-style films that preserve their journey and values.

Through guided interviews with founders and key team members, we explore how your company began, what drives you, and where you're headed next.

These films go beyond marketing — they become part of your legacy.
Whether used to mark a milestone, welcome new team members, or share your values with the world, they offer a lasting way to tell your story.

Past, present, and future — through the voices of the people who made it happen.

Your Questions & Concerns

We’re not comfortable on camera. What if it feels awkward?

You don’t need to perform. We create a calm, natural environment where you can speak at your own pace. Many of our clients forget the camera is even there — because we focus on conversation, not performance.

Is the film private? Will you share it publicly?

Your story is yours.

We treat every project as a private family archive. We only share a film or any excerpts from it with your clear written permission — and only if you’re fully comfortable with that. Some clients choose to allow us to share their films as examples; others prefer to keep them completely private. The choice is always yours.

What if we don't know what to say?

That’s our job.

We guide you with gentle questions and active listening. You won’t need to prepare a speech — just be yourself. Real stories come out in real conversations.

This seems expensive for a video...

It’s more than a video — it’s a legacy.

Each film includes planning, interviews, filming, editing, music, and archiving — by a team with 15+ years in documentary work. We price fairly and transparently based on time and care.

How long does it take to make a film?

Most films take 8 to 12 weeks from filming to final delivery, depending on complexity and the number of interviews.

Need it sooner? We may be able to offer an expedited timeline — just ask during our planning call.

What if we want to change something?

You’ll have a chance to review your film before it's finalized.

One round of revisions is included in your package. We’ll work with you to make sure it feels just right — because we want you to truly love your film.

What format do we receive the film in?

You’ll receive a high-quality digital copy and a physical version on USB.

What if my parent doesn’t want to participate?

That’s okay.

Sometimes a different format — like a Mini Family Film with messages from loved ones — works better. We’ll help you find an approach that feels right.
